Incredible natural beauty
Bunker Bay, also known as Naturaliste, is one of the most beautiful places in Western Australia. Visitors lucky enough to discover this stunning part of the coastline will long remember its white sandy beach, turquoise waters, rocky outcrops and expanses of trees and bush. This is a very special paradise.
The beautiful, clean beach is idyllic in summer and perfect for swimming, snorkelling, fishing and surfing.
Visitors can also explore the surrounding Meelup Regional Park, which is biodiveristy hotspot and home to many plants and animals only found in this part of the world.
You can also visit Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse (open to the public for tours). There are many walking trails and sign-posted tracks to help visitors explore the area and take in the incredible views.
Spring is a beautiful time to visit Bunker Bay, when colourful wildflowers and breaching whales are a common sight.
There are a mix of holiday houses, resorts, villas and high-end holiday accommodation options at Bunker Bay however there are no retail or shopping facilities.

- Three hours’ drive south of Perth
- At the northern section of the Margaret River Wine Region
- 10 minutes’ drive from Dunsborough town centre (for groceries and supplies).
