Here’s all-time favourite Yallingup Lagoon. This section of Yallingup Beach is simply stunning and, on a good day, offers unforgettably blue water blanketed by a long stretch of clean, white sand at the northern end and rocky outcrops at the other.
The lagoon is protected from big waves and rough conditions thanks to its reef and well placed rocks, which also form some wonderfully deep pools that are great for snorkelling into.
Yallingup Lagoon is a great spot for lazing, wading, swimming with little children and watching beautiful bronzed bodies go by.
It’s also just a short walk from the main Yallingup carpark and a grassed picnic area, playground and kiosk so it makes for a convenient and stress-free outing with kids in tow.
Stay all day to enjoy the sunset over the ocean (maybe with a burger in hand from one of the frequenting food vans).
